Boarding Agreement *

By checking the box and signing below, I agree to the following terms for boarding my dog(s) with The Long Dog Co.: 1. Accuracy of Information The information I have provided about myself and my dog(s) is accurate to the best of my knowledge, including behavioral, medical, and veterinary information. 2. Cancellation Policy A booking is considered confirmed once my requested dates are approved, this agreement is signed, and the reservation deposit shown above is paid. The deposit is applied to my final invoice. Standard stays: cancelling 48+ hours before drop-off incurs no charge. Cancelling within 48 hours, or a no-show, incurs a late-cancellation fee equal to one (1) night's boarding rate, invoiced after the reserved date. Holiday and peak periods (Thanksgiving week, December 20 - January 2, July 4th week, Memorial Day weekend, and Labor Day weekend): cancelling 7+ days before drop-off incurs no charge. Cancelling within 7 days, or a no-show, incurs a late-cancellation fee equal to two (2) nights' boarding rate, invoiced after the reserved date. Any late-cancellation fee is billed the same way as a stay -- after the fact -- and is due on the same terms as a regular invoice. 3. Rates & Payment My nightly rate is confirmed by The Long Dog Co. once my dates are approved. A reservation deposit, equal to one night's rate, is required to confirm my booking and is applied to my final invoice. The remaining balance, plus any applicable late-cancellation fee, is invoiced after my dog goes home and is due upon receipt. Online payment is by credit or debit card, processed securely through Stripe. Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay are also accepted, but only in person and outside this website. 4. Vaccinations & Health My dog must be current on Rabies, DHPP (Distemper), and Bordetella vaccinations, with proof provided before their first stay. My dog will arrive free of fleas, ticks, and any contagious illness. 5. Veterinary & Emergency Care I authorize The Long Dog Co. to seek veterinary care on my dog's behalf if my dog becomes ill or injured during the stay and I cannot be reached. I agree to be responsible for all veterinary costs incurred. The Long Dog Co. will make every reasonable effort to reach me and my listed emergency contact first. 6. Behavior & Liability I confirm my dog has no history of aggression toward people or other animals. A dog showing aggression may be safely separated, and I may be asked to arrange early pickup. I am responsible for any property damage or injury caused by my dog during the stay. The Long Dog Co. provides attentive, in-home care but is not liable for illness, injury, or escape that occurs despite reasonable care. Personal belongings (beds, leashes, toys) are sent at my own risk; The Long Dog Co. cannot guarantee against normal wear or loss. 7. Authorization I am authorized to make this booking and to agree to these terms.
